Organized by Ruby Foxall ’23
Participants will learn how to design earrings (and other jewelry) and then cut them on the laser cutter at the Makerspace.
Participants will have to complete the general Makerspace safety quiz & the laser cutter/3D print quiz (laser cutter guide available here), both of which are relatively easy to find and pass. Other than that, people are welcome to design their pieces using Solidworks, Adobe Illustrator (available at Sprague), or hand-drawing -- anything that can be exported as a PDF!
Any time during the week with drop-in hours during particular times (TBD). This activity may also include one or two set design workshops at the start of the week (around 1-2 hours at most) paired with open hours for the laser cutter the rest of the week.
