Organized by Jeff Groves
Participants will work in teams at the Library's First-Floor Press to create "guerilla poetry" tablets. These would be pieces of cardboard with perforated, tearable sheets attached, each sheet containing a short poem. In addition to giving students a fun time in the press room working with nineteenth-century printing equipment, they would also be creating a means to distribute poetry all around the campus.
Nope, just enthusiasm for printing, poetry, or both.
A shift would be two hours per day (1-3pm) for four days (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri). This would demand some training, and space in the studio is restricted, so consistent participation would be necessary.
Six per shift. Two shifts might be possible depending on interest.
